2.55pm – Darryl Stone Nominator Michelle as the Treasurer.

3.00pm – Shannon Motioned that the President, Vice President and Treasurer all be signatures.
Thomas Second.
Voted unanimously in favour.
3.02pm – Thomas motioned that the Manager can have all access to financial documents and information.
Crystal Second.
Voted unanimously in favour.
3.06pm – Darryl motioned for John Burke to remain as a back up signature.
Shannon Second.
Voted unanimously in favour.
3.17pm – Levi Motioned That the Recruitment committee consisting of Darryl Stone, Stuart Reid,

Shannon Tamehana, Crystal Manaena-Kapa, possibly Fran Spencer and a possible member from CPIT

are assigned to appointing the Manager and Advocate.

3.25pm- Joy Motioned for the Executive council and the staff members to meet every Monday

of the second week during the school holidays to review the previous term and plan for the next.

1.    Welcome and Introductions
Meeting was called to order at by Darryl Stone and welcomed all present. Introductions were done.
2.    Agenda

Working under current constitution, need governance training before any constitution changes can be made

 Contract finishes in April
5.    CPSA
CPIT has students; CPSA has members.  Darryl: we work for the members

Popularise / organise / educate / mobilise, feels we need to adopt acronym like this.
 
7.    Governance training
Governance training necessary for staff and governance to work together. 12 & 13 April
•    Develop understanding of role
•    Have legal roles, no trustees or directors indemnity insurance protect self and group
•    Team: creating clear direction for staff and governance
•    Dave experienced in governance training
•    What recourses do we already have
•    Set direction, have everyone in agreement(sp)
•    Independent training regarding governance
•    Mission statement handed out to governance board.

Where is the governance training?
Motion: president and office manager to find facilitation for governance training.
